GAME PLAY:

Based on the hugely popular Call Of Duty game, COD:MW2 has drawn on advances in technology, gamers suggestions and demands, and a liberal budget to create a stunning, realistic game. It incorporates an online multi player mode.

The theme from the original game is continued. Vladimir Makarov, the head of a Russian ultra-nationalist organisation has taken over where his associate (Imran Zakhaev) left off.

He is cruel and vicious. He does not play by the rules. He is out to dominate the world using brute force.

Enter Task Force 141. Your aim, together with other members of your unit, is to stop him dead in his tracks, if you will excuse the pun.

As before, you will get the best sound effects when you connect up to surround sound.

INITIAL REACTIONS:

The adrenaline pumping fest has provoked frenzied reactions of rapture on the one hand, and public demonstrations of condemnation for what is seen as gratuitous violence that is likely to poison the feeble minded and children.

The US Entertainment Software Rating Board reacted with a report highlighting the scene which involves gunning down civilians in cold blood.

Players can choose to go through this particular level without participating in the mayhem.

A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE GAME:
